Safety First!
At Pipiol, it's a priority!

To make sure that you have the best camp experience of your life (and also your parents are assured of your continuous safety).  Here's some of the details that illustrate our commitment to the safety and well-being of our campers:

  • Our main location, the Hacienda de Santa Maria de Pipioltepec, is located about 9 miles outside the picturesque village of Valle de Bravo.  It is totally surrounded by a high 30 foot wall that has protected the hacienda for 500 years.
  • Our gate keeper and his family live right at the main gate and make sure the only authorized persons are permitted onsite.
  • We have a paramedic onsite at the hacienda.

  • Our counselors have all been trained in first aid. And if all you really need is a hug...well, we are experts at that, too!
  • On our great excursions outside the hacienda, campers are always accompanied by at least two counselors, who travel with two way radios, and, of course, the first aid box!
  • Food? It's the best in Valle de Bravo!  You can count on the most delicious, homemade food in the area. Our cooks are ladies who learned from the best cook who was with us for over 40 years! They know the secrets of Mexican cuisine and know how to make the food “kid-licious!"

  • Rooms? Count on the Pipiol staff to take the great care of our campers day and night. Our dormitory style rooms for camp allow for the best experience day and night.  You might even surprise your Moms and Dads at how CLEAN you keep our area at camp!
  • Challenge Course:  We assure you the greatest experience on the high events at our Ropes/Challenge Course.  We use the only certified helmets and a harness for the participants and our staff is trained in high element safety.  As you experience the zip line, the catwalk, the grapevine and other high elements at our Tree House Camp, you can enjoy the greatest "high" experiences in the safest environment.

  • On the  water:  As you enjoy the lake at Valle De Bravo, you can count on our  well-trained Pipiol staff to be part of your canoe group and watching over  your as you go tubing. Yes, we all use life jackets! You'll love the water games we have prepared for you at our campsite, too.
  • Anytime campers are away from the hacienda, count on a great team of first responders, and a boat or vehicle designated for use in case of emergencies.
